Mechanical supportSelection focus

Some products ask more from their packaging. An irregular cut, a heavy portion or repeated handling can place extra stress on the film. PA / PA / PE introduces a second nylon layer to the structure, while retaining a polyethylene sealing surface and a transparent presentation.

INSIDE THE STRUCTURE

Different layers. One considered package.

Read the structure from the outside surface to the inner sealing layer.

Layer 1 · First nylon layer

PA

The first PA layer contributes strength and supports the laminate during converting, filling and handling.

Layer 2 · Additional reinforcement

PA

A second nylon layer adds mechanical support. The final performance depends on the film specification and the way the complete laminate is made.

Layer 3 · Inner sealing layer

PE

The PE layer provides the heat-sealable inner surface for the vacuum pack. Clean, consistent seals remain essential even with a reinforced structure.

A detail worth checking

An additional nylon layer supports a reinforced design. It does not turn a PE-based frozen-food pouch into a retort pouch.

WHERE IT FITS

Designed around the way you pack.

01

Irregular shapes

Evaluate this structure for products with uneven surfaces or more demanding contact points, such as certain meat portions.

02

Heavier portions

A reinforced laminate can be considered where fill weight and handling place extra demands on the pack. Trial the filled pouch through the actual route.

03

More handling steps

Compare pack performance after vacuuming, freezing, stacking and distribution. A good sample trial should follow the same sequence as production.

THE SELECTION GUIDE

Reinforcement works best with a well-designed pack.

A double-PA structure does not remove the need to control sharp points. Review product preparation, bag fit and any suitable protective measures before increasing film thickness alone. Compare candidate samples with your current pouch using the same product weight, vacuum cycle and storage conditions.

BEFORE YOU REQUEST A SAMPLE

Four details for a better brief.

  • The point where the current pouch becomes stressed or damaged.
  • Product weight, shape and the location of sharp contact points.
  • Required clarity, print coverage and available sealing area.
  • The complete route from filling through freezing and distribution.

Share the intended use and ask Miaoman to confirm the complete material specification. Evaluate samples with your actual contents and equipment before placing a production order.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A little more clarity.

Does the second PA layer make the pouch puncture-proof?

No. Reinforcement is a design choice, not a guarantee against every sharp edge. Test the proposed pouch with the actual contents and handling conditions.

Can this reinforced PE structure replace a retort pouch?

No. This Miaoman PA / PA / PE range is intended for chilled or frozen storage, without heating or retort processing. RCPP-based laminates should be evaluated for a retort application.
